Leap of Faith by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley

I talked about this book during library to many classes this week while we were reviewing the William Allen White books. I had only read the first chapter...but now I finished the book. It is the story of a misunderstood 6th grader who has to enroll at a Catholic school because she has been expelled from the public school. What did she do to get expelled? You will want to find out for yourself, but it involved a knife, lots of blood, and the Principal's son! She feels that no one EVER listens to her...she has to make new friends, try to get over being angry, learn to forgive, find out if she is as good an actor on stage as she is in real life, AND get her parents back for not listening to her--she's thinking of joining the Catholic church, because she can't think of ANYTHING that will make them crazier!
